Gappa gotala is my all time favourite whenever I go for outing I order this but my hubby never eat fried item from outside so for home I tried this at home and everybody surprised and enjoyed this yummlicious gappa gotala at home and husband love it and praise me for this. This is basically made with three sauce (chatnis) and chickpeas boiled , boiled potatoes and dahi phulkis. Gappa gotala is a indian dish called raj kachori is now famous in Pakistan specially in karachi. Gappa is made with sooji then flaten with rolling pin is then deep fried . Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Gappa gotala:
- 1 cup sooji
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 pinch salt
- Warm water for kneading
- Dahi phulki
- 1/2 cup Baisan(gram flour)half
- pinch Salt
- Water for making paste
- Pinch baking soda
- 500 gms yogurt blend in 4 tbsp sugar and pinch of salt
- Red imli khatti meethi chutney
- 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
- 5-6 red chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 inch piece of Gaggary (gurr)
- Green theeki chutney
- 1/2 cup tamarind paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 7-8 hot green chilles
- Bunch green coriander
- Other item
- Chickpeas boiled with salt
- Potatoes boiled and partially mashed with salt and chatmasala
- Saiv you can get it from nimco
- Meethi dahi sauce
- 4 tbsp sugar and 500gms yogurt
Instructions to make to make Gappa gotala
- First make gappa, add semolina (sooji) flour and salt and knead it with warm water set aside for 15 mins after making dough it a little hard dough. Divide into 6.



- Make big round shape then deep fry it one by one when added to wok put spoon on poori so it will make like a ball fry from both sides and set aside



- Noww for red chutni time, mix all red sauce chutni item in ga pot and cook it will make little runny like hot sauce. Make and set aside.



- Now for green theeki chutney. Put all the item in blender and make a paste and set it aside and make meethi dahi by blending 4 tbsp yogurt sugar and 1/4 water make a sauce


- Now for phulkis make a paste of gram flour baisan adding salt and water then deep fry it and soak it water for 10 mins then soak out add in blended yogurt



- Now assembling turn now add all turn by turn first all the things on table all the sauces dahi phulki cheakpeas boiled potatoes and saiv. Now ready to eat.
